Amp Electric is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join our team.
We are looking for an applicant with a wide range of experiences that would fit into our diverse client base.
Qualifications:
- Well rounded, ability to work in small teams. Experience with smaller electrical outfits is an asset
- Must be comfortable doing service work
- Punctual and reliable
- Good communication skills and can take direction from co-workers
- Ability to work efficiently and independently when necessary
- Respectful of work sites (attention to detail, tidy work environment)
- Willingness to learn in new environments
- Safety conscious
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Code
- Drivers license and reliable transportation to job sites in Calgary and surrounding areas
Experience: The right applicant must have experience in the following areas:
- Residential, commercial and industrial electrical projects.
- Fire alarm, security/low voltage wiring and troubleshooting
- Reading blueprints
- Managing and instructing apprentices
- Industrial: ability to build raceways and conduit runs
